For those of who aren't familiar with the vast amount of restaurant chains in America, Chipotle (a Mexican grill) have recently produced an animated TV advertisement which, in terms of design and visuals, is a quality and beautiful piece of work.
Although it's achieved over 6 million views on YouTube, the video and company has received a less-than-desirable amount of feedback... and I can see why.
I suppose the idea behind the video is to shed a new light on how Chipotle source and produce their food... the crying cow tear cut me right down. However, a video like this makes me want to hug a chicken, and never eat one again let alone any other animal. I'm not sure if this ad will turn customers away from McDonalds, but it definitely has got people talking. And sure, any publicity is good publicity right?
